Personal License

One agent. Your machine. Your identity.
from $20 / month

Run an AI agent on your own machine under your own identity, bound to your exact CPU-core count. The simplest way to start — for individuals and indie builders.

  • Run your agent as a secure bridge for your tools, data, and workflows.
  • Build on any Bridge SDK — Node.js, Python, or .NET.
  • Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — any coding agent.
  • Drop into any MCP server or agent framework.
  • Generic or domain agents — bring your own domain if you want.
  • No quantum-vulnerable key exchange — no API keys, no PKI, no OAuth.
  • Flat $20/month for 1–10 cores, then +$2/core. Monthly or annual.
  • Owner-locked — no spoofing. The agent grants access only to the HexaEight email your license is issued to.

Business License

Per-core production. Many users. Any runtime.
from $72 / core / month

One HexaEight identity bound to one machine you own, under your own domain. Bundle the Bridge SDK in your language; the cryptographic core runs underneath. Monthly or annual billing.

Everything in Personal, plus
  • Unlimited users authenticate — no per-MAU, per-seat, or per-call billing.
  • Build multi-user agent services and products for your customers.
  • Scale to large fleets — larger core counts available on request.
  • Same SDKs, coding-agent connectors, and device breadth as Personal.
  • Runs on Linux, Windows, macOS, Pi, edge, automotive, drones, microcontrollers.
  • Open to many users — any registered HexaEight email can connect, not just the owner.

How pricing scales

Start small, scale only when you need to

Personal and Business are priced per CPU-core, so you pay for what your machine actually runs. Need many identities at once? Azure is the economical route.

Personal
from $20/mo

Flat for 1–10 cores, then +$2/core. One private agent.

Business
from $72/core/mo

Per-core, scales with your machine. Unlimited users connect.

Best for bulk
from $144/core/mo

Unlimited identities on one VM. The economical choice for enterprises running many agents.

Running identities at scale?

Don't license core-by-core for a fleet.

For many identities across an enterprise, the Azure Marketplace VM hosts them all under your own domain — billed through committed cloud spend, no per-identity cost. Stop the VM, billing stops.

Pricing FAQ

Common pricing questions

Both run an agent on your own machine and support generic or domain identities. The difference is who can reach the agent. A Personal license (from $20/mo) is owner-locked: only the HexaEight email the license is issued to can connect, so a personal agent can't be spoofed. A Business license (from $72/core/mo) removes that restriction — any registered HexaEight user can authenticate, with no per-MAU or per-seat billing — so you can build multi-user agent services and products.
Business is priced per CPU-core on machines you run yourself. Azure (the Marketplace VM, from $144/core/mo) hosts unlimited identities under your own domain on one VM, so for an enterprise running many agents you add identities without paying per identity. It's MACC-eligible and billed through your committed Azure spend; stop the VM and billing stops. Choose Azure when you need identities at scale; choose Business when you run on your own hardware.
It's in development, not yet available. The plan: sign requests, responses, and log entries with your identity, and verify them offline with no PKI — useful for audit trails (EU AI Act, DPDPA, HIPAA-relevant processing). Self-attestation of your own public key will be free; CA-style attestation, where HexaEight vouches for your public key in a registry, is the paid layer, coming soon. We'll announce pricing when it ships.
Yes — that's the Azure multi-identity use case. A partner runs a Marketplace VM, hosts many identities on it under their own domain, and resells each at any price they choose. We sell the primitive; partners make the margin on top.
Bedrock and Foundry are AI gateways. HexaEight is the identity layer that sits in front of them. We don't compete with hyperscalers. We provide a cryptographic identity primitive that they (or you) can bundle and resell on top of their own AI services.
The license is cryptographically tied to the machine it was activated on. Activation creates a hexaeight.mac file and an env-file containing the hostname, login token, password, and license code. Copying these files to a different machine will not work; the license validates against the original machine's environment. The Personal license is also bound to your machine's exact CPU-core count.
Yes. Activate the Azure Marketplace VM, move the identities you want to migrate, and let the earlier license expire naturally. The tiers can also run side-by-side indefinitely.
Yes. Personal and Business licenses can be paid in ₹ — look for the "In India? Pay in ₹" link on each card. International customers check out in USD on the HexaEight Store.
Our own SOC 2 is on the roadmap, not yet issued — we won't represent it as complete until it is. At the infrastructure layer, the platform runs on Microsoft Azure, which gives us inherited SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 / 27017 / 27018, HIPAA BAA, and (in Azure Gov regions) FedRAMP. Additional application-layer details are available on request.
